Track Athlete of the Week

Emma Farrington, Endicott (So.)

Sophomore Emma Farrington (Essex Junction, Vt.) had one of nine school record performances for Endicott at the Penmen Relays this weekend. She finished third in the 3K steeplechase, posting a school-record time of 12:00.50. She bested her previous record time of 12:13.76 by more than 10 seconds and pushed her NCAA Regional ranking up to 14.

Field Athlete of the Week

Erin Gunther, Salve Regina (Sr.)

Salve Regina senior Erin Gunther (Sayville, N.Y.) qualified for the New England Championships this weekend at the Penmen Relays. She finished third in the triple jump at the meet with a distance of 11.12 meters (36'5.75").

Track Rookie of the Week

Emma Shearer, Gordon (Fr.)

Freshman Emma Shearer (Hampden, Maine) set a new Gordon College record in the mile this weekend at the Penmen Relays. She placed eighth out of 50 runners with a time of 5:32.86.

Field Rookie of the Week

Nicole D'Angelo, Endicott (Fr.)

Freshman Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) competed in two field events for Endicott at the Penmen Relays this weekend. She ranked 10th in the shot put with a throw of 10.97 meters (36'0") and placed 11th pole vault clearing 2.60 meters (8'6.25").

Relay Team of the Week

Endicott Sprint Medley
Gabrielle Morton (Fr.), Julianne Sullivan (So.), Olivia Folkes (So.), Amanda Recupero (So.)

Gabrielle Morton (Peabody, Mass.), Julianne Sullivan (Wrentham, Mass.), Olivia Folkes (Amston, Conn.), and Amanda Recupero (Ipswich, Mass.) set the standard for Endicott in the 1600m sprint medley this weekend at the Penmen Relays. The placed fifth overall with a time of 4:32.07.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference comprised of nine full member and one associate member institutions throughout the New England region.
