Player of the Week

Sadie Nelson, University of New England (Jr., G)

Junior Sadie Nelson (Windham, Maine) helped the University of New England earn two conference wins this week. She opened the week by matching a career-high with 27 points against Gordon. She also grabbed five boards in that contest. She followed that up with 13 points and eight rebounds in close matchup with Western New England. She scored eight of her 13 points in the fourth quarter to help the Nor'easters close out the victory. She shot 48 percent (12-for-25) for the week.

Rookie of the Week

Peyton Perine, Curry (Fr., C)

Curry's Peyton Perine (Fairfax, Va.) picked up double-double this week scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds against CCC rival Salve Regina. It was the seventh straight game she reached double figures in scoring. Perine shot 9-for-16 (56.3 percent) from the floor, while also recording a steal and two blocks in the contest.
