Player of the Week

Billy Vizzo, Curry (Jr., F)

Curry's Billy Vizzo (Shelton, Conn.) continued his streak of eight-straight games with at least a point since joining the team in January. He scored three total points in the Colonels' weekend series against Nichols, which came into the weekend at the top of the CCC standings. He factored into both of Curry's goals in a 2-2 deadlock on Friday (Jan. 25) with a goal and an assist. He then scored the tying goal with under two minutes remaining in regulation to force overtime on Saturday (Jan. 26). The Colonels would pick up the game-winner in the extra frame.

Goaltender of the Week

Justin Ketola, Curry (Jr., G)

Junior goaltender Justin Ketola (Cloquet, Minn.) helped Curry pick up three key points in the CCC standings this week as he and the Colonels went 1-0-1 in their conference matchup with Nichols. He made 29 saves in a tie to open the series, playing all 65 minutes and surrendering two goals. He denied 33 Bison opportunities the next night allowing his team to come-from-behind and earn the victory in overtime. He finished the week with a 1.86 goals against average and a .939 save percentage.

University of New England freshman Austin Morgan (Novi, Mich.) had identical score lines in both ends of the Nor'easters home-and-home series with Wentworth this weekend. He scored two goals and dished out one assist in each contest giving him six points on the week. He also finished with a plus-two rating.
