SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Four Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men’s basketball student-athletes were recognized by D3hoops.com and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for their accomplishments this year by being recognized with postseason accolades.
Leading the pack was Nichols senior Marcos Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) who became the conference’s all-time leading scorer earlier this year. Echevarria earned the highest honor of the bunch as he was named to the D3hoops.com All-America Second Team. The Bison guard was also a D3hoops.com All-Northeast Region First Team member and was named to the NABC Northeast All-District First Team.
Roger Williams’ Austin Coene (Tyngsborough, Mass.) earned Second Team spots on both the D3hoops.com All-Northeast team and the NABC All-District team. Meanwhile, both Endicott’s Keith Brown (Pelham, N.H.) and Nichols’s DeAnte Bruton (New London, Conn.) both earned D3hoops.com All-Northeast Fourth Team spots.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference comprised of nine full member and one associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The conference administers championships in 18 intercollegiate sports.
