SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has announced the Fall Academic All-Conference Team, and it includes 365 student-athletes from the conference's 10-member institutions. The Academic All-Conference honor rewards varsity student-athletes who attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher. The Fall Academic All-Conference Team encompasses student-athletes who participated in the sports of men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and volleyball.
Of the honorees, 69 were first team, second team, or honorable mention All-CCC selections in their sport.
Also noteworthy is that the Athlete(s) of the Year in six of the seven CCC fall sports received Academic All-Conference laurels, including women's cross country Runner of the Year Hannah Zydanowicz (Roger Williams), field hockey Offensive Player of the Year Courtney Scott (Gordon), men's soccer Defensive Player of the Year Kevin Parma (Western New England), women's soccer Offensive Player of the Year Katie Lydon (Roger Williams), women's soccer Defensive Player of the Year Jessica Reade (Roger Williams), women's tennis Player of the Year Chrissy Martel (Endicott), women's tennis Rookie of the Year Caroline Hall (Gordon), volleyball Player of the Year Krystie Luczynski (Roger Williams), and volleyball Libero of the Year Grace Kucharski (Western New England).
