Sydney Poulin, Endicott, Field Hockey, Defensive Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Sophomore Sydney Poulin (Watertown, Mass.) was part of a defensive unit that held Endicott opponents to just two goals in a 2-0 week for the Gulls. Both wins were against conference opponents with the first coming against the University of New England. In that matchup the Nor’easters were only able to muster five shots on-goal and four penalty corners as the Gulls to the 2-1 win in overtime. Poulin and the Gulls then held Western New England to just six shots on-goal. The sophomore midfielder also got involved offensively in that game with two goals and an assist.
