SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Ten Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) field hockey student-athletes earned postseason honors from two organizations at the end of the season. All ten were honored on the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region and All-America teams and five were also recognized as Synapse Sports All-Americans.
Endicott’s Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.), a CCC Offensive Player of the Year honoree, highlighted the list as the only CCC student-athlete recognized as a Longstreth/NFHCA All-American with her selection to the First Team. She was also a Synapse Sports Second Team All-American and a Longstreth/NFHCA All-New England East Region First Teamer.
Three other CCC major award winners also garnered All-America status from Synapse sports as CCC Defensive Player of the Year Kersey Boulay (Liberty, Maine) from the University of New England, CCC Offensive Player of the Year Ashley Cody (Pawling, N.Y.) from Salve Regina, and CCC Rookie of the Year Sydney Poulin (Watertown, Mass.) from Endicott all made this year’s list. Boulay joined McCarthy on the Second Team, while Cody and Poulin were both Third Team honorees. Poulin was also named the Synapse Sports Division III Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team. All three were also Longstreth/NFHCA First Team All-New England East Region.
Six others received Longstreth/NFHCA All-New England East Region accolades. Endicott’s Taylor Farrin (Danvers, Mass.) and UNE’s Kendra MacDonald (Lebanon, N.H.) were both All-Region First Teamers, while Endicott’s Cameron Molinaire (Simbury, Conn.) and Addi Williams (Pittsfield, Maine), UNE’s Marge Gardiner (East Northport, N.Y.), and Western New England’s Lana Felice (Pawling, N.Y.) were all Second Teamers. Williams was also on the Synapse Sports All-Rookie Team.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference comprised of nine full member and one associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The conference administers championships in 18 intercollegiate sports.
