CCC Men's Ice Hockey Athletes of the Week #6

Player of the Week

Daniel Kucerovy, Endicott (Sr., F)

Endicott senior forward Daniel Kucerovy (Bethel Park, Pa.) led the Gulls to a 2-0-0 week with victories over Wentworth (5-4) and the University of New England (7-3). Kucerovy scored the game winner and registered his first career hat trick along with an assist against UNE on Saturday (Dec. 1). On Friday (Nov. 30), Kucerovy dished out two assists in the Gulls' 5-4 win over Wentworth for a total of six points for the week.

Goaltender of the Week

Cody Foster, Becker (Jr., G)

Junior goaltender Cody Foster (Saugus, Calif.) made a school-record 66 saves for Becker on Saturday (Dec. 1) helping the Hawks to their first conference win over Western New England. Foster registered a .985 save percentage in the 4-1 victory.

Rookie of the Week

Curtis Carlson, Nichols (Fr., F)

Nichols freshman Curtis Carlson (Lakewood, N.Y.) scored a pair of goals in the Bison's 4-3 win over No. 5 ranked University of New England at home on Friday (Nov. 30). Each goal put the Bison ahead in the contest and Carlson is now tied for the team lead with five tallies.

ABOUT THE COMMONWEALTH COAST CONFERENCE

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference comprised of nine full member and one associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The conference administers championships in 18 intercollegiate sports.
