ABOUT THE EVENT

At the CCC SAAC Fall meeting, student-athletes decided to hold a conference-wide food drive from Friday, Nov. 10 to Friday, Nov. 17.

Each of the 10 CCC full member institutions is coordinating the event on its own campus. During the week, each school will solicit donations of food items and report the count of items collected to the Conference office at the end of each day. An updated leaderboard of items collected will be released every morning of the drive.

Every school will be accepting donations in different ways. Some will have donation boxes outside of their athletic department, while others will be accepting food items in exchange for admission into athletic contests. For more information on how you can contribute to the drive, reach out to your respective institution.

At the end of the week, each school will deliver the donated items locally to an organization of its choice.

The following schools have reported they will be donating their items at the following locations:

  • Curry - Dedham Food Pantry (Dedham, Mass.)
  • Eastern Nazarene - Quincy Family Resource Center (Quincy, Mass.)
  • Endicott - The Open Door Food Pantry (Gloucester, Mass.)
